Stay Prepared Against All Stages of Cancer

SBI Life - Sampoorn Cancer Suraksha (UIN: 111N109V03) is an individual, non-participating, non-linked Health Insurance Pure Risk Premium Product. It pays out assured benefits upon diagnosis of different stages of cancer.

• Benefits at Different Stages of Cancer

  The cancer insurance plan recognises the condition in stages as per the diagnosis and offers three benefit structures.

• • Standerd Plan:
    
    

    In case of CIS (Carcinoma in situ) or Early Stage Cancer diagnosis:
    
    - Lump sum benefit of 30% of the sum assured would be payable.
    - One CIS and one Early-Stage cancer claim allowed during the policy term.
    - 60% of the sum assured as maximum pay-out
    - Premium waiver for five years after the first minor stage cancer claim, from the date of diagnosis
    
    In case of Major Stage Cancer diagnosis:
    
    - Balance of 100% of the sum assured less any benefits paid earlier on minor stage claim would be payable.
      Option to take 40% of the sum assured chosen at inception as monthly income benefit over 3 years and rest as lump sum benefit under Major stage claim.
      The monthly income benefit would be 1.20% of the sum assured chosen at inception.
    

  • Classic Plan:
    
    

    In case of CIS (Carcinoma in situ) or Early Stage cancer diagnosis:
    
    - Lump sum benefit of 30% of the Sum Assured would be payable.
    - One CIS and one Early-Stage cancer claim during the policy term allowed.
    - 60% of the sum assured as maximum pay-out.
    - All the future premiums starting from the date of diagnosis till the end of the policy term will be waived off.
    
    In case of Major Stage Cancer diagnosis:
    
    - Balance of 100% of the sum assured less any benefits paid earlier on minor stage claim would be payable.
    - All the future premiums starting from the date of diagnosis till the end of the policy term will be waived off.
    - Option to take 40% of the sum assured chosen at inception as monthly income benefit over 3 years and rest as lump sum benefit under Major stage claim.
       The monthly income benefit would be 1.20% of the sum assured chosen at inception.
    
    In case of Advanced Stage cancer diagnosis:
    
    - Balance of 150% of the sum assured less benefit claimed earlier would be payable.
    
    

  • Enhanced Plan:
    
    

    In case of CIS or Early Stage Cancer diagnosis:
    
    - Lump sum benefit= 30% of the Sum Assured would be payable.
    - One CIS and one early-stage cancer claim allowed during the policy term.
    - 60% of the sum assured as maximum pay-out.
    - All future premiums from the date of diagnosis till the end of the policy term will be waived off.
    
    In case of Major Stage Cancer diagnosis:
    
    - A balance of 100% of the sum assured less any benefits paid earlier on minor stage claim, would be payable.
    - All future premiums from the date of diagnosis till the end of the policy term will be waived off.
    - Option to take 40% of the sum assured chosen at inception as monthly income benefit over 3 years and rest as lump sum benefit under Major stage claim. The monthly income benefit would be   1.20% of the sum assured chosen at inception.
    
    In case of Advanced Stage cancer diagnosis:
    
    - A balance of 150% of the Sum Assured less benefit claimed earlier, would be payable.
    
    In all these cases, the Monthly Income is a Guaranteed Benefit. It will continue for three years, irrespective of the death of the life assured or policy contract termination.
    
    
    

• Sum Assured Reset Benefit

  After a period of 3 years from the date of a valid minor or major cancer claim within the policy term, and subject to no further diagnosis of minor, major or advanced stage cancer during the same period, the full sum assured of the cancer insurance will be restored.

• Tax Benefit

  You can avail tax benefits on payment of premium under section 80C of Indian Income Tax Act 1961*
